The Firmwide Business Resiliency ("FBR") team is within the Office of the CFO and is responsible for the design of the firm's Resiliency Program, including the requirements for Resiliency Planning, Testing, Reporting and Issue Management. When disruptions occur, these practices support the continued operation of the firm's businesses, the markets, and our ability to service of our customers' needs. The FBR group collaborates closely with the firm's senior leadership, the LOB / Functional Resiliency teams, Risk Management and Audit to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk-taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. The team also ensures that the firm remains in compliance with global laws and regulations as they relate to resiliency risk.

FBRT is seeking an Vice President to implementation of the Regulatory Change Management activities in the support of the FBRT Legal Entity Framework. The VP role is critical in assisting the development of Regulatory Change Management and Legal Entity Frameworks and agenda across the firm and will work closely with the LOB, Function and Regional Resiliency Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Regulatory Change Management program to enable alignment with the evolving resiliency landscape informed by regulatory, industry and local requirements
  • Manage FBRT obligation management responsibilities through ongoing review and assessment of both current requirements and new regulatory event notices
  • Represent FBRT with the Office of Legal Obligations team to further leverage and influence the scope of the overall program to support critical Business Resiliency requirements.
  • Provide input into the design and enhancement considerations for the firmwide policy, standards and relevant local supplements
  • Provide SME support to the Firmwide Business Resiliency stakeholders relating to the Office of Legal Obligations program as relevant to their obligation impact assessments
  • Manage the inventory of local regulatory requirements which are considered to be in 'Excess of Firm Requirements' including providing credible challenge in reviewing proposed items from Business Resiliency stakeholders

Qualifications:
  • Significant work experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience in Resiliency, Risk Management, Compliance and/or in a related Control function, preferred
  • Strategic thinker - be able to discern themes from multiple sources of information to formulate broader agenda and see it through to implementation
  • Stakeholder management and leadership- demonstrated ability to influence leaders and partner well, particularly ability to navigate the organization across regions and functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; with an ability to drive results and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet overall objectives
  • Sound judgment and professional maturity to proactively outline and solve problems
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and awareness of requirements driven by regulation
